Master Power:

The Shaw Atlas remote can also be set up for master power, which allows the main power button to control the on/off power for all of your equipment at once, as opposed to you selecting the mode key and power on each device independently.

  2. Enter 9 – 9 – 5  on the keypad
  3. Press the Power button once
  4. Press the mode key for the first device you want in the power sequence (for example: CBL). Then, press Power once
  5. Repeat step 4 to add the other devices you would like to have included in the power sequence (for example: AUD then power, TV then power)
  6. Press the mode key, CBL, once
  7. Press and hold the SETUP button until the CBL button blinks twice

Locking Volume Controls to Audio Devices:

If you are using an audio system to control the volume while watching TV you can program your Shaw remote to lock up with that device, so that it will default to it as the source for audio. To do this:

  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the mode key flashes twice in a row
  2. Enter the code 9 - 9 - 3
  3. Press the mode key on which your audio system was programmed (AUD, AUX, etc…). This will lock the volume to the device
