Learn how to set a manual recording on a specific channel, for a specific time using the Ignite TV on-screen guide. This feature is useful:

  • When you need to manage the length of time that a specific channel is recorded
  • When you need to record only part of a program
  • When you want to record everything broadcast on a channel during a particular timeframe.

Did you know? If you only need the recording to begin a few minutes early or end a few minutes late (including extended end times for live sporting events), the easiest way to do this is to set up a standard recording and then extend the recording time.
