Payment options through My Shaw

Through my.shaw.ca you can manage your Shaw billing by making payments or by setting up pre-authorized monthly payments with your credit card or bank account details. To manage your payments you will first need to log into my.shaw.ca.

You can view past bills, set up Auto payment and view your current bill status using the My Shaw app. Payments via My Shaw (app or web) are instantly applied to your account.

 

Download the My Shaw app for free on the Apple App Store or get it on Google Play for your Android device. 

                  

 

Make a secure payment

In My Shaw you have the option to set up a payment profile. A payment profile is not required in order to make a payment, however securely saving your payment details will allow you to quickly make payments in the future without having to re-enter your payment details. You will have the option to create a payment profile and save your payment details when you make any individual payment, or set up a recurring payment for the first time. If you do not wish to have a payment profile set up, simply choose not to save your card.

 

First Time Payment:

  1. Sign in to my.shaw.ca
  2. Click the Make a payment button

  3. You will have the option to pay using either an existing saved credit card profile or a new credit card. If you have not yet saved a credit card to your profile you will be automatically prompted to enter your payment details.

    Making a one-time payment
  4. Select a saved credit card profile and then click Pay now, or enter your credit card payment details for a new card, and choose the option to Pay Now.
  5. If this is new credit card information that you have entered, you can choose to "Save Card" to save your payment information securely for future use.

Set up pre-authorized payments

Pre-authorized payments can be set up through the My Bills section of My Shaw. Recurring payments may be set up using a credit card or a bank account. To set up and manage your recurring payment options you will first need to log into my.shaw.ca.

 

  1. Click My Bills
  2. Click the Sign up for Auto Payments button to set up your payment profile.

  3. Enter the requested information for your chosen payment method.

  4. Once set up, you will see a green bar indicating that auto payments are now active for your account.

Update pre-authorized payment information

You can modify existing payment details, or switch payment methods by clicking Edit auto payments.

  1. Click My Bills.
  2. Scroll down the page to view the "Auto Payments" section.
  3. Click the Edit auto payments button.

  4. Select whether you would like to edit your current payment method information or switch payment methods.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Enter the requested information and click Sign up to complete the process.

Request a payment extension through my.shaw.ca

You can request a payment extension through my.shaw.ca. If you are eligible, and your account is overdue, you will see a banner at the top of my.shaw.ca which gives you the option to submit a payment extension request, seen here:

You can submit a payment extension request like this:

  1. Click the payment extension link.
  2. Here you will be presented with the payment extension form, shown below.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Payment date: When you will be making the payment in full. Payment date must be within the next 14 days.
    • Payment method: How you will be making a payment (e.g. in store or via another payment option).
    • Contact email: Your primary contact email address.
  4. Once the correct information has been entered you will be presented with a confirmation message indicating that the payment extension request has been submitted.
  5. When we receive your request we will be able to advise you as to whether we are able to provide an extension. You will also receive a summary of your request via email.

Request a payment extension through the My Shaw app

You can request a payment extension of up to five days through the My Shaw app. If you are eligible, and your account is overdue, you will see a banner at the top of the app which gives you the option to submit a payment extension request. You will also see a card on the billing screen which provides the option to request a payment extension.

You can use the link to submit a payment extension request as follows:

  1. Tap the link to open the payment extension request form.
  2. When viewing the form, enter the requested information and select the date by which your payment will arrive.
    • Payment date: When you will be making the payment in full. Payment date must be within the next 14 days.
    • Payment method: How you will be making a payment.
    • Contact email: Your primary contact email address.
  3. Once the correct information has been entered you will be presented with a confirmation message indicating that the payment extension request has been submitted.
  4. When we receive your request we will be able to advise you as to whether we are able to provide an extension. You will also receive a summary of your request via email.
