Running a virus scan on your computer can help to discover and eliminate the threats caused by malicious software such as viruses and spyware. Running scans on a regular basis will help to ensure that these threats are discovered and quickly removed. You can set McAfee Internet Security to do an automatically scheduled scan, or you can manually start a scan at a time of your choosing. This guide will show you how to manually start a virus scan on your computer.
