Motorola DCT3080 back

The Motorola DCT3080 is a standard definition Digital Box with PVR functionality and is capable of viewing digital channels, including HD (see * below), and accessing Video On Demand.


You can use a coaxial, RCA/composite, or S-Video cable to connect this Digital Box to your TV. See Wiring Diagrams below for a visual explanation of the setup options.

*The DCT 3080 is also capable of tuning to HDTV programming. The unit employs a process called “down-converting” to allow high-definition programming to be viewed in standard definition format. Therefore, although the DCT3080 is able to tune to an HD channel, the picture quality displayed on your TV is in standard definition.

**The 3080 has an eSata port which is not enabled by default. To enable this port, and thus the ability to use a PVR Expander, please contact one of our customer support representatives.
