*The DCT 3080 is also capable of tuning to HDTV programming. The unit employs a process called “down-converting” to allow high-definition programming to be viewed in standard definition format. Therefore, although the DCT3080 is able to tune to an HD channel, the picture quality displayed on your TV is in standard definition.
With the Motorola DCT3080 you can use a coaxial, RCA/composite, or S-Video cable to connect this Digital Box to your TV. See Wiring Diagrams below for a visual explanation of the setup options.
