 Here is a look at some of the features and light sequences for the Cisco DPC3825 Internet modem.

Power

Solid Green Light: indicates that the unit is receiving power. Flashing Light indicates the startup diagnostics are in progress.

DS

Solid Green Light: Indicates that the downstream channel is connected. Flashing Light indicates the modem is scanning for a downstream connection.

 Amber Light: DS Channel is connected but is not channel bonding.

US

Solid Green Light: Indicates that the upstream channel is connected. Flashing Light indicates the modem is scanning for an upstream connection.

 Amber Light: US Channel is connected but not channel bonding

Online

Solid Green Light: Indicates that the modem is now online. Flashing indicates the modem is scanning for network connectivity.

Ethernet

1 - 4

When solid, these lights indicate that a connection has been detected. If flashing, this indicates that data is currently transmitting through this ethernet port.

Green - Connected at 1000 Mbps

Amber - Connected at 10/100 Mbps

Link

When light is solid or flashing, data is transmitting over the wireless network.

Setup

Indicates that WPS is activated while flashing.
