To keep up to date with service outages in your area, you can follow a space specific to your area/region on the community.

Locating your region

Find your region at Service Outages & Updates using each unique space. Subscribing to a space will focus your notifications.

 

Service Area Map

Vancouver Island (Victoria, Nanaimo, Campbell River)

Lower Mainland (Vancouver, Whistler, Hope)

BC Interior (Kelowna, Prince George, Cranbrook)

Northern Alberta (Edmonton, Red Deer, Fort McMurray)

Southern Alberta (Calgary, Lethbridge)

Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, Moose Jaw)

Following the Service Outages & Updates  space will notify you of national outages and updates.

         

 

How to follow a space and receive notifications

After you have found your space, or you have selected the Service Outages & Updates page, you can Follow the page to receive notifications of any updates. Following a space will email you every time a new document is posted to the page.

 

  1. Click the Follow button in the top rightClick Follow
  2. Click the Following button and make sure that all three checkboxes are selected
    Follow Inbox and Email
  3. You are now following your regional space!

Changing your email preferences

To make sure that you receive notifications to outages and maintenance the moment they happen, you can adjust your email notification settings for the Community.

 

  1. Click User Preferences to navigate to your personal settings
  2. Scroll down to Following
    Email Preferences
  3. Check Email and ensure that All Activity is selected to receive each update as it happens.
