As of June 6, 2018, a system-wide upgrade will require you to use a Shaw ID to access your account. This Shaw ID serves as a single login for various Shaw services, such as:

  • My Shaw
  • Shaw Go WiFi
  • FreeRange TV
  • Other Shaw TV apps

This change does not affect your access to Shaw Webmail. You still sign in with your @shaw.ca email address normally. Learn more about how you can access your emails online from any computer at Understanding Shaw Webmail.

Who can register for a Shaw ID?

Only the primary account holder can register for a primary Shaw ID. Through My Shaw, you can create up to four secondary Shaw IDs that other household members can use to access Shaw services and products.

After you register your Shaw ID, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation link. This link is only valid for 48 hours.

After 48 hours, you will need to repeat the process to receive a new activation link.
