Connecting a PlayStation Vita to WiFi

This guide will show you how to setup and connect your PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) handheld gaming system, which can be connected to your Shaw internet to play games online, download additional content and even to update the PS Vita software.

Connecting the PlayStation Vita to Wireless Internet

  1. From the Vita home screen, tap Settings
  2. Select Start
  3. Select Network
  4. Select Wi-Fi Settings
  5. Choose the wireless network (also called the Network Name or SSID) to which you would like to connect. If you are using a Shaw wireless modem you will be able to find your network name and password via the white sticker on the top of the modem (shown below)*.

  1. Enter the password for your wireless networks (also called the Pre-shared Key or Passphrase) as indicated above*.

 

*If you have customized your network name (SSID) and/or password and can no longer remember the login credentials, you will need to restore your Wireless Modem to the default settings.
