Motorola RAZR HD LTE PhoneIf you would like to set up your WiFi and email using an Exchange (ActiveSync) server on your Motorola RAZR HD LTE Android phone, continue reading this guide. Exchange is the preferred method, but you can also set up your email using IMAP or POP.

Here you will learn how to set up your Shaw.ca email using a Microsoft Exchange server, which is the recommended email setup method because it offers various benefits, such as advanced handling of email, less confusion for accounts connected to multiple devices, and synchronization of calendars and contacts. Follow the instructions below to send and receive emails on your Motorola RAZR HD LTE phone using an Exchange server.

 

  1. Press the APPS button and select All Apps
  2. Select Messaging
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Manage Accounts and tap Add Account
  5. Select Corporate Sync
  6. Enter the following:
    • Your Shaw.ca email address and password
    • Username: Your Shaw email address without @shaw.ca
    • Domain: shaw.ca
  7. Choose Enter Server

WiFi setup

To set up WiFi on your Motorola RAZR HD LTE phone:

 

  1. Press the APPS button
  2. Select Settings
  3. Slide the WiFi option to the On position
  4. Tap WiFi
  5. Choose the network that you would like to connect to
  6. Enter the network password (unless the network is open and does not require a password)
  7. Press Connect

 
If you are connecting to your home Shaw WiFi network and have a Shaw WiFi modem, you can find the network name (SSID) and password located on the white sticker on the back or bottom of your wireless modem.

If you have customized your network name (SSID) and/or password and can no longer remember the login credentials, you will need to restore it to factory settings.
