Learn how to recover deleted emails in Webmail. If you delete an email in Webmail you can recover it through the recover deleted email function. This document will explain how you can use this feature to recover your lost emails.



You can only recover deleted emails for a period of 7 days. After this time period the emails in your trash folder will be permanently deleted.

How to recover deleted emails in Webmail

To setup email forwarding through your Shaw Webmail account:

  1. Sign in to Webmail at https://webmail.shaw.ca/  
  2. Right click on your trash folder to bring up the menu
  3. Select Recover Deleted Items

  4. Choose the email that you would like to recover
  5. Select Recover To

  6. Select the folder that you would like to move the email to (for example: Inbox). There are three ways which you can choose a folder:
    1. Search for a folder
    2. Manually select a folder out of a list
    3. Create a new folder

  7. Select OK to complete the process and restore your email. Once complete, you will see the following message appear to confirm that your email has now been restored.
