How to power cycle your Shaw cable box to fix channel issues

Scenario: You are experiencing channel issues or certain channels are no longer coming in that were previously available.


Quick Answer:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the wall or from the power bar
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Plug the power cord back in. Wait a couple of minutes for the interactive guide functions of the digital box to be fully restored
