In this article, you will find information on how to change your Shaw voicemail service from the default English to the language option of your choice. Customers who are setting up their voicemail for the first time will be asked upon setup which language they prefer as part of the activation process.

You can access your My Shaw Voicemail online, by visiting https://my.shaw.ca. You will need to register for a My Shaw account if you have not done so before. You can also download the My Shaw app from the Apple App Store or from Google Play

How to change the language options on Shaw Voicemail

To change the language of your voicemail:

 

  1. Lift the receiver and press *98 to access your voicemail services main menu
  2. Press 3 for personal options
  3. Press 7 for language options
  4. Select your language preference by pressing the corresponding button

 

Shaw Voicemail services are available in the following languages:
English (Press 1)
French (Press 2)
Punjabi (Press 3)
Mandarin (Press 4)
Cantonese (Press 5)
