If you have an Apple device and would like to connect to WiFi at home, or by using a Rogers WiFi Hotspot (formerly known as Shaw Go WiFi), follow the instructions below.

Connecting to in-home WiFi

To connect your device to your home WiFi:

  1. Open your device's WiFi settings.
  2. Select your home WiFi network from the list of available networks.
  3. Enter your network password.

If you are using a Shaw wireless modem, you will be able to find your network name and password printed on the sticker on your modem. For instructions specific to your device, visit Apple Support

Connecting to a Rogers WiFi Hotspot

The ShawPasspoint network (SSID) allows for easier registration to Rogers WiFi Hotspots on your Apple device. This lets you register for Rogers WiFi Hotspots from any location with an Internet connection, without having to be physically near a hotspot.RogersOpenRegistrationFinal.png

To connect to ShawPasspoint:

  1. Visit the Get Started page.
  2. Using the Safari web browser, register for Rogers WiFi Hotspots using your Shaw ID.

Minimum device requirements:

  • An Apple device using iOS 8 or higher
  • iPhone 5 or newer
  • iPad 3rd generation or newer
  • iPad Air
  • iPad Mini 2nd generation or newer
