I have a 300+ plan and work from home. Once in a while (which could be once a week or twice a day) the Internet drops. My VPNs disconnect, a possible Teams call drops and the internet is inaccessible. I can't do a speed check at that time, but right after the upload speed can be between 0.5 and 6.5, to rebuild within minutes to 100+. The downtime can be 10 seconds up to about a minute.
The light on the modem is fine. I work with Cat5 cables (no wireless computers) to maximize the speed. 99 percent is fine, but the one percent is very disrupting.
I'm having the same problem at time my speed is really over 500 download speed then suddenly drops to 40 download speed. What's going on and not the only one having this problem.
