Does Shaw web mail exchange support Outlook's "clean up conversation" function?

Thanks

@pa1 -- if that function is part of Outlook, it should work when connected to any mail-server.

What happens if you try it?

  1. Select an email conversation heading
  2. select "clean up conversation"
  3. Receive the following message "All redundant messages in this conversation will be moved to the "Deleted Items" folder.
  4. Press "clean up" in the box containing the message in 3. above.
  5. Receive the following message "No messages were cleaned up.  Only messages that satisfy your Clean Up Settings will be moved to the deleted items folder.  You can choose which type of messages are cleaned up in "Settings"
  6. Go to "Settings" "Mail" "Conversation clean up"
  7. No matter what changes you make in "conversation clean up" in 6. above "Clean up conversation" execution always ends up with the message in 5. above.

Most of the time "clean up conversation" is either greyed out or eliminated completely from the drop down menu.  It's intermittent. I thought maybe the problem was that Shaw web mail active sync doesn't support "clean up conversation"  but from what you say I suspect there is a glitch in Outlook.  Would appreciate if you have any further thoughts on it.

Thanks
