4k Channels

Broadcast industry is right on top of cutting edge technology! 10 years since 4k broadcasting was introduced and Shaw has just updated a pile of SD channels to HD! No wonder so many people are switching over to Streaming services which now offer a large selection of 4k with all shows now in production being made in 4k. 
shesh!!!  Not enough people care about picture quality and it’s cheaper for the cable companies to cater to them. They used to blame bandwidth limitations now it’s just financial.

TV Broadcasters need to transmit in 4K, and right now, only some live sports and on demand content is available. Hopefully, broadcasters will adopt NextGenTV, giving us more options.

@robpetts -- I am not sure that I need 4K picture-quality to watch the TV news and/or Jeopardy and/or the Fire Log.  🙂

 Shaw has been providing many HD channels to me for many years.
