Can no longer add channels as favorite with XR-15 blue curve remote

I used to be able to add channels to my favorites but no longer

This is exactly what I do:

I navigate to the channel I want to add to Favorites.

I press left arrow button on the remote to highlight  channel, press okay and

all that happens is the channel number and letters and channel description show up at the bottom of the screen

and other than that absolutely nothing else. Click the info button and nothing changes.

It used to work but now doesn't

Any ideas?

In the guide, highlight the channel, click ok, highlight “Favorite” and press ok.
