Tiny Sound on recordings

This is new, and just started about a week ago. Some of our recordings, the sound is so bad, we have to turn it off and watch the show another way.

Has anyone else had an issue with the sound on recorded shows? If so, is there a way to fix it?

We have blue curve.

@kudos2jen -- is your setup using a 5-channel audio-receiver, to power external speakers?

Shaw equipment <-- HDMI cable --> Receiver <-- HDMI cable --> HDMI-input on TV ?

Or, Shaw equipment <-- HDMI cable --> HDMI-input on TV --> sound-bar connected to TV's "audio-output" ? 

Could the "volume" setting on the Receiver have been lowered?

Could the "volume" setting on your sound-bar have been lowered?

Have you tried disconnecting the electrical power from the Shaw equipment, waiting a few seconds, reconnecting the power, and wait for it to completely restart?
