Sorry you're experiencing an interruption currently. To keep your phone number private I have removed that from your post. Can you let me know if you are seeing lights on your phone terminal at this time? If so, what lights do you see? Please also see No Dial Tone on All Phones for a few troubleshooting suggestions and let me know how that goes.
My phone has not been working lately either. i have hit the reset button as explained in the shaw phone issues. This did not resolve issue. I plugged phone directly into shaw motorola box. still no phone recognized. I think the box is cooked?
Sorry to hear that your phone isn't working at the moment, but we'll be able to help you fix that promptly.
You mentioned you reset the phone modem and plugged a phone directly into the phone modem so far. What I'd recommend you try is to remove the power cable, unscrew the coaxial cable and then remove the battery from the phone modem as well, until you have no lights at all. Steps for removing the battery are here.
If you still don't have a dial tone after trying this, please let us know which lights are on the front of the modem. We can take a look at this for you from here at that point.
Matt, I tried your suggestion about battery removal. No phone tone, this did not resolve the issue. There are no lights on the motorola. It is dead. I checked the plug in, It is ok. Conclusion: Dead Motorola (electrical issue, inside of box).
