There is a pending action for username

I am experiencing two problems:

1. I tried to change my password but i couldn't do it because of this:"There is a pending action for username"

2. I can't use shaw email account in the new Kindle Fire. Although the outgoing server works, the ingoing (i can't receive messages) does not.  I've done the follows:

Manual Setup --> POP3 -->Username: my full email address without @shaw.ca -->my email password -- POP Server: pop.shaw.ca -->Security type: None --> Server port: 110


Any help would be appreciated
