Is webmail2 required to be able to syncronize email on shaw webmail between my ipad and PC?
e.g. delete mail from ipad also deletes mail from PC.
Our Webmail service offers Exchange Activesync, so that you can synchronize your email between Webmail and your iPad, or between Webmail and another EAS-enabled device or client. An example of such a client for Windows is Windows 8 Mail. So with an EAS-enabled client, any actions you take on the server are reflected immediately in the client and vice-versa (deleting, sending, moving, calendar actions, etc...)
Most desktop clients though, don't offer this functionality (Outlook for example or Thunderbird). Most clients are set up with POP/SMTP mail servers. You can set them up though so that when you delete email on your client, it is also deleted from the server, but that's really the only kind of syncing that you can do that way.
