This new update had been nothing but problems for me. I constantly have my email program freeze, become unresponsive, download multiple email duplicates etc. I didn't have any problems with the old version.
Unfortunately, the previous version is unavailable. Even if we were able to get it installed, it would just upgrade to the new build on it's own.
That being said, the software shouldn't be behaving in that manner. The system requirements for the new build are the same.
A few questions:
What OS are you running and, if you know, what is the processor speed and amout of RAM on the computer?
What email program is it?
Is it only the email program experiencing challenges or are other programs having issues as well?
Which it has done (McAfee upgraded) since the other evening. I use Windows 7. It is Incredimail. I have an HP notebook, Intel I5, 8GB RAM
In your previous post you mentioned it was incredimail 2.0 that you were running. Have you tried upgrading to incredimail 2.5?
Yes, I did upgrade last night. Still problems today but I will give it some time yet as it is still syncing etc. I will let you know. Thanks.
Just checking in. Has this problem been resolved yet?
So far, so good. Updated my Incredimail to 2.5 and no more freezes. I ran the Vulnerability Scanner through McAfee and made sure I had all the latest updates and scans done and my problems seem to have resolved. A tech from Shaw called yesterday and I relayed the same message. Thank you for your inquiry and everyone's help!! It is very much appreciated.
Glad to hear dez! Thanks for letting us know.
Have a great week!
