Since a couple hours ago, I cannot access to certain websites using any wifi devices at home. I cannot even download apps from my iPhone and ipad. It happened a couple months ago as well. Just wondering what is going on with my network.
Hi guys, just an FYI we are aware of this and we've got an alert for you up here.
We hope to have some updates on this for you promptly and we do apologize for the obvious inconvenience here. If you do have any questions about this, please post them on that alert so we can keep the conversation in one place.
When you lose access to these sites from your wifi devices, what message do you see in your browser? Page not found or some other such error?
And if you then go to a computer wired to your modem, do those sites show up?
It's odd that it would only be certain sites. I'm curious what the link among them is.
I have tried to use wired for my laptop but it has the same result. It says the browser could not open the page because the server stopped responding. I have tried to use the data hotspot from my cell phone and everything is working fine.
is one of the websites that could not be open.
We are collecting examples of this issue for the Saskatoon area as other customers have mentioned issues here https://community.shaw.ca/thread/10326. Please check your Community Inbox for a direct message from me and reply back there.
I'm having issues with internet connectivity in Saskatoon tonight (though I feel like it's been happening fairly regularly lately). Slow speeds (2-3 Mbps download on a Broadband 50 account) and intermittently unable to connect to certain services like iTunes. I've tried connecting directly to the modem but that doesn't change the situation. I've had Shaw techs at my house twice in the last few weeks so my modem is new and the connections have all been verified by Shaw.
I'm also having issues connecting to certain websites, such as twitch.tv.
Same here. Haven't been able to connect to Twitch since this morning.
