We have 3 slots for a Gateway Portal... at the time of installation we had only 2 TV sets. We have already the 3rd TV set.... I plugged it in the ARRIS device but it could not connect. WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM?
When the technician came to install your Gateway and Portals, did you make him aware that you were eventually going to have another TV at the location it is now?
The Gateway and Portal system works off a MOCA network which essentially means that the devices communicate to each other uniquely. Each Portal has to be connected properly to an outlet that is setup for this network. If the technician wasn't aware of where the Portal needed to be connected, it may not work properly. In this scenario, we'd need to get a technician out there to properly wire the network to the outlet you are using.
Another scenario might be that you got the Portal after the installation? We might need to provision and activate the hardware on this end if it hasn't been done already.
If you can fill in some of the information gaps then I can get everything sorted out for you.
