Unable to play recordings

Hi there,

 

We recently got a gateway machine. We've received the pink screen a couple of times, but have managed to find a work around for that.

 

But today, after i got around the pink screen I've been unable to play a PVR recording. When I attempt to play a recording, it just freezes the channel I'm currently watching. The only way i've found to get around the screen freezing is to go back to the tv guide and pick a different show. It won't allow me to change the channel.

I spoke with shaw this morning and we swapped out the portals with a secondary one we have (for when we get a second tv), although the pink screen hasn't happened again (although that's not consistent - so unable to tell if it's fixed) the channel i'm watching still freezes when I try and play a recording.

 

Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix??
