Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server

I have followed the instructions on setting up my Shaw email account.  Unfortunately, I always get the following Error:

 

     Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail

     server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or

     internet service provider (ISP).

 

I would be grateful if you could help me.
