Has anyone been able to set up their Shaw E-mail account on a Kindle Fire HDX?
I also own a Kindle Fire HD. I can get the E-mail set up on the HD but NOT on my Kindle Fire HDX (at least so far with hours of time wasted trying various parameters).
Thanks for trying to help. Have got it working now on both my HD and HDX. After an hour on the phone plus a few more hours of work.
POP accounts should work, but not Exchange yet (Exchange accounts are 'broken' in the latest version of Android)
Well POP is NOT working for me. Have you been able to get it to work on a Kindle Fire HDX?
We will be ordering a HDX tablet probably by the end of the year, but we don't have one yet
Could you specify the settings you are using for incoming and outgoing mail server?

I believe there was a problem with my E-mailAddress@shaw.ca on the shaw server side.
I created a NEW E-mailAddressNEW@shaw.ca and them made sure this worked via Windows Live Mail on my PC.
Then went to my Kindle Fire HD and got it working there. Then to the HDX and got it working there also.
I then went into my shaw account and deleted E-mailAddress@shaw.ca .
I suspect the problem may also have had something to do with the fact that the "E-mailAddress" part was like this
"FirstName.LastName" and that the '.'[period] may have been a factor.
POP3 server: pop.shaw.ca
ID is xxxxx in firstname.lastname@example.org
Password: Is your Shaw E-mail password.
Check Use secure connection (SSL)
Check Accept all SSL certificates
SMTP server: mail.shaw.ca
UNCHECKED "Use the same username and password for Incoming and Outgoing servers"
Username: mail address with @shaw.ca
Password: your Shaw E-mail password
Check Requre sign-in
That seemed to do the trick.
