I have no picture on my tv. when I try to select a channel it says that i don't have a subscription to the channel. I have tried unplugging the power to the satellite and the antenna.
Sorry that you don't have any TV at the moment! We do have a Shaw Direct moderator available (donovon), but unfortunately he's not around at the moment. Have you tried a Receiver Refresh from the Shaw Direct website? It basically sends the activation signal again for the channels you are supposed to have
All it took was a call to Shaw and they had it fixed within seconds. Thanks everyone!

Glad to hear you were able to call in and have the receiver back up and running so fast! If you ever notice the 'Subscription Required' message show up on channels you are currently subscribed to you can attempt a soft reset followed by a receiver refresh.
A soft reset is simply unplugging the receiver for five minutes and plugging back in. Allow the programming to come back and check the channels. If they have not returned, proceed with a receiver refresh. If you have signed up for Shaw Direct Self Serve, you can request a refresh when you log into your account. If not, you can call our automated system at 1-888-554-7827, options 1 (English), 1, (Existing Customer), 3 (Activate/Refresh), 2 (Refresh Receivers). The system will send a refresh signal to all receivers that are on and receiving satellite signal (not showing 'Receiver has lost satellite signal').
