It seems my IP from my business is blacklisted. I get some emails bounced back. What do i do? I am having a tough time reach certain customers.
Does your business have it's own email server for sending email? Or do you use the mail.shaw.ca (or similar) outgoing email server?
There could be a few different things going on, so lets start there
I do not have have my own email server i think. i use Shaw as my internet carrier. My email is an imap service (google). I do not know to figure out if my email is blacklisted or my ip address. I have been very frustrated in trying to figure this out for the last few months. There are about 20 people who i cannot email or they cannot see my email. Any help would be appreciated.
I get this error on some of the emails as it bounces back right away: 554 Denied
Which email program are you using? I can give you instructions from there to check the settings for which outgoing server you are using.
It isn't likely your own IP is blacklisted (or related) if you are not running your own email server, but this is just the beginning
We haven't heard back from you, were you able to get anywhere in figuring this out? Are you using a Shaw email address or Gmail address? The people who you currently cannot email, are the email addresses they are using with the same provider? The more information you can provide, the better we will be able to assist you.
