I've been trying to setup my SMTP outbound email on my iPhone for Shaw mail and cannot get it to recognize my account.
I can receive my emails just fine, but it says it doesn't recognize my username and/or password for the SMTP outgoing server.
I've followed the instructions and ensured the server is
> port: 587
> SSL enabled
> password auth enabled
exact message: "The user name or password for 'SMTP:email@example.com' is incorrect"
---and yes, I've checked and verified I typed my password and username correctly. (just to head off the obvious first question)
