Getting a message on my tv screen..." A new software update is available. Would you like to start the update?...could take up to 5 minutes..."
It's been half an hour.
Hi ali, the message is coming from my PVR. And yes, there was an "accept" button which I chose but the screen stayed the same for about 40 minutes. I eventually switched off TV and turned on again. Message is now gone. It appears the update never occurred. I kind of gave up. Thanks for your response! Cheers
Is this update message coming from your PVR? Does the dialogue box have any start or accept button so that the update begins? Could this be a message from your Television instead, if this one of the newer Smart TV's...?
