My daughter accesses her Shaw e-mail account through webmail.shaw.ca. She has a parental-controlled account on a shared iMac, and uses Safari. I've set parental internet filters manually to allow access to Shaw Webmail. She has had no problems until recently. Since last week, however, trying to logon to Webmail produces the error message:
Safari can't open the page "https://webmail.shaw.ca" because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "webmail.shaw.ca".
I've cleared the cache with no success. Proxy settings haven't changed, and remain the same among all user accounts on our iMac. I can access her Shaw Webmail while on my iMac user account.
Have there been any changes to Webmail that would make iMac parental controls limit access? Or could there be another issue?
Thanks for any help!
