My E-mail has stopped working! i have an apple IOS 10.5.8 and I cannot send messages from the mail app, but can reicive.

Even if nothing was changed manually, updates for the device/mail app can automatically change the settings. We're sorry to hear that didn't work! Can you please confirm with us the outgoing server as well as outgoing port number you see when you look in your Mail settings? Since you're able to receive but not send, the incoming settings are fine but something doesn't appear to be matching up with the outgoing settings. Please also include if you are getting any sort of error message when trying to send, or if the email just sits in the outbox.

i have tried again and it didn't work
Sorry to hear it's still not working! Can you please tell us the outgoing server settings and outgoing port number you see when you navigate through the settings of your Mail App? Over the years, we have had multiple different servers so we want to confirm which ones you're currently using. Please also include how it doesn't work, ie do you get an error message or does the email you tried to send sit in your outbox? We apologize for repeating our last questions but the more information we have the easier it will be to determine the problem. It's difficult for us to troubleshoot something with limited information provided.

my outgoing server was shawcable.vc.shawmail.ca and port was 25 without SSL and that worked fine untill today.
now it is mail.shaw.ca and port 587 with SSL
