My Macmail will not send emails when I am outside of Canada. It works fine in Canada, but as soon as I leave the country, I can receive but not send. This seems like a typical Shaw glitch with Mac products. All of the settings are fine because it works perfectly in Canada. It almost seems like you need to be in the proximity of a local server in order for the send function to work (which makes no sense). I have the same problem on my Ipad. I can use net-based webmail, but that's such a primitive interface. I'd rather use the Mac mail functions. Fix it Shaw. We pay exorbitant prices for our internet and cable. Fix it.
