Had a old RCA Digital TV. Purchased a used 58 inch HDTV (Panasonic) over the holidays. what do I need to do to get access to HD?
You should be able to connect the older digital box to the older TV yes. I would suggest waiting to get the Gateway system until you have upgraded your other TV. It is not a necessary purchase when you have multiple TV's, it is just an option you have, and of course would be better if the TV was HD compatible so you can experience the full benefit of that system.
To view HD you would just need to have an HD capable box connected to your HD TV. You can view the equipment we currently have available here: Shaw Equipment. Please let us know if you need any further information.
Ok. Thanks Rachel. Will purchase later today. Another question. Can I use the digital box I currently have and connect it to an old tv I have that wasn't connected to an digital box before or do I need something else such as a gateway? Or should I wait until I replace that old tv with an hd tv?
