Cable modem sb5101 "send" keeps flashing.did reset procedure without success ?Any ideas ?
Sounds like your modem isn't locking up and coming online unfortunately. I'd recommend checking the coaxial connection on the back of the modem. Take a look and see if it's going directly from the back of the modem to the wall outlet, or if it's going through a splitter first. If it's going through a splitter, try bypassing it (if possible) and put it straight to the wall outlet. You can also try reseating the coaxial cable by unscrewing it from the back of the modem and the wall outlet, and screwing it back in. One last thing you can try is changing out the coaxial cable between the modem and the wall, or hooking it up to another active cable outlet.
