reported delay sending from our mail exchange server
Hi Heather... yes, I have had and maintained those settings all along. I checked and triple checked, nothing...
However, after I backed up/restored my phone, then deleted all my mail accounts and recreated them, I appear to be able to send for the moment.
I find this odd, but so far it works.

Hello Colwin. Sorry to hear that your email isn't working, we don't currently have any outages with our servers. Can I ask what email program you are using, and what servers you are using for incoming/outgoing? Also, is this a laptop or a desktop computer? Alternatively you can go to our Email Setup page if you want to check the settings yourself.

My iphone 5 has suddenly stopped sending email over wifi without a delay of 9 to 10 minutes. I can send just find using gmail, but i have borrowed it down to SHAW. I have been on the phone with Apple, they had me resetting network settings and eventually backing up and restoring the phone, but still, shaw email takes 9 to 10 minutes to leave my phone. Apple tells me it's nothing they can help with. Why can I receive but not send Shawmail all of a sudden? Why a delay?

If you are having trouble sending then most likely there is an issue with the outgoing server. Please follow these steps to verify that the outgoing server settings are configured properly.
