Shaw Secure - Mcafee

Mcafee recently stopped updating, it recommended that I update it manually, tried that and it didn't work and gave me a warning about my computer security.  It recommended that I re-install the software, I did that and it said I had some problems with my computer and could not install it.  I also could not get Mcafee support.  It did not tell what was wrong and would not install the software.  I now do not have the software and want to correct this.

 

How should I proceed?
