Known issue with DCX3400 - Resolution?

We have been waiting patiently for about 9 months now for a resolution to a known issue that was introduced by a software update last fall.  I'm talking about how the external Expanders, Shaw branded ones even, are getting disconnected from the DCX3400s.  This issue did not happen until after the software update so it should be relatively easy to correct the code that is causing the problem yet it has been many, many months since this first happened and yet we have seen no resolution.


Can someone please explain why the issue has not been resolved yet, when it might be resolved and provide any other information that may be relevant?
