Connecting Windows vista laptop to D-link router

Hi there,

I've been struggling with this for some time now.  I can't seem to get my Toshiba Windows Vista laptop to connect to my D link router.  The other wireless computers in the house work fine, but this one doesn't.

I know the security type of the home network we have is WPA-Personal (I'm not going to change it to WPA2-Personal until I get my laptop working).  I have tried both AES and TKIP encryption types with the network security key password to try and get it to connect, but it's still not working.

I know the security key is correct because I just reconfigured my router, put in a new password and it works for all the other computers.  It's just my old computer that's being difficult.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for your time,
