My 3510 was having problems ......tech said remove WD expander which I did ....problems corrected....can I reboot expander to link with my 3510
You certainly can,
Here are a few basic steps to reboot everything so that it syncs up:
1.) Unplug power from the HD box and Expander
2.) Unplug the SATA cable at both ends
3.) Plug power back to the Expander, let it power up on its own for 2 minutes
4.) Plug the SATA cable back in at both ends
5.) Plug the HD box back in
6.) Power everything back up
Just checking in. Were you able to resole your expander problems with Colin's suggestions?
