Curtently my modem is unable to connect to Shaws network just the DS light is flashing. I have tried cycling it a few times.

I haven't seen any reports of issues in the area, so I would recommend that you try everything we've got listed in this document here first: Unable to Connect to the Internet

I have gone through the troubleshooting and still not gettingvany connection to the modem from the cable network.
