Shaw Secure UPGRADE issues

Dating back to about the middle of December, I've "upgraded" three separate times (the latest being a couple of hours ago).


The problems I'm seeing are:

1) the REAL-TIME SCANNING setting defaults to OFF and each time I've click it ON within a few minutes it's off again.

2) when attempting to run the scan options (quick or full) an error is triggered. Nothing from that point functions. Closing from the task manager is required.


I've just restored my laptop and reverted back to Shaw Secure prior to this upgrade.(when it seemed to function as expected)

My computer specs are: Intel i7 core (2.2 GHz), 8 GB Ram, Windows 7, 1 TB hard drive


Any help in resolving this would be much appreciated.
