This app is ridiculous. It is supposed to be a Mobile app yet it does not work!! Shutting down the app and restarting the iPad is not the answer as was posted previously. A real solution would be helpful. Thank you
Errors are never good. We now have a number of mobile Apps, which App are you having this trouble with? Also, what action is triggering this error?
Global Go is the app that said I could watch my favourite shows on the go. But it doesn't open any shows no matter which one I pick
Are you connecting through your home wireless or another connection when you get this error? Is it possible that you may be connecting through a VPN or using alternative DNS? (if you have no idea what these are, this won't apply to you)
I Am using an iPad that connects through my hotspot off my phone. My peeve is that this is a mobile app it shouldn't matter how I connect to the internet this should work. It's what the app is supposed to do. Watch anywhere...
For sure, but it will only work within Canada due to copyrights. Unless you're travelling outside the country or connecting through a VPN, it shouldn't be an issue.
Is there a possibility that your iPad has been jailbroken? If you're running the App on a jailbroken device, that can also cause errors like this.
I Live in southern sask and you couldn't be talking to a more technically handicapped operator. My device is not jail broke. Someone else posted this error a couple hrs ago which led me to post my complaint. My mom also said she was unable to run this app off her mobile device but that it worked on the lap top which was connected to a wireless modem. I find it frustrating that shaw doesn't even know what the error code really means. And no VPN as I am at home on my couch and am self employed, no company internet benefits.
Thanks for confirming that. We've been unable to replicate this on any of our test devices, so the Global Go App is working perfectly from here. Since we've had two reports of this in the same night, however, that does raise my alarm bells and I'm going to be sending this up to see if any other cases have been reported or to get more information on that particular error code. I'll update the thread with any new information as soon as I have it, if you could let me know if it starts working again for you that would be appreciated. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Heykellyadielli, I'm finding out just now that there were some issues with the server earlier this evening. It should now be resolved though. Can you test it out again and let me know if it's still occurring?

Perfect, thanks for the update! We got confirmation from the developers that there was an issue yesterday, but it has now been resolved, so it should be good now.
