Is it possible to stop the video output on a DCX3400

I am using component cables, but when I tested the other outputs, they all did the same.

When I power off my DCX3400, a video 'stream' continues to be outputted from the DCX3400, it is a black screen in whatever resolution (480i, 720p, or 1080i) was the last channel was, but still a signal.

Is it at all possible in a menu somewhere to actually turn off the video output when powered down?

The RF Bypass setting, causes the DCX3400 to continue to output the current channel, but the front display and the power 'button' go dark.  When this is happening, pushing Settings does show the User Settings,  pushing Settings again on the remote to exit, goes back to the channel in powered off mode.

In short, is there a way to turn off the AV signals when the PVR is turned off?
