I'm getting sick and tired of the "sim-subbing" that's being used during the NFL game broadcasts.
I can understand that the CRTC wants us to watch Canadian commercials, but is there no
better way to implement this? We used to be able to watch the Super Bowl in all it's glory with the
funny TV commercials and that's gone. Now, the commercials are cutting into the game play by several seconds.
Last week, for example, the game telecast resumed AFTER a 4th and 2 play and also AFTER a kickoff return.
I may as well throw my away my Shaw digital boxes, cancel my entire account with Shaw and
watch the games online with a different provider and NFL Game Pass.
I'm also getting sick and tired of the excuses that I've heard in the past about this.
And now for something that can be realistically answered.
Can't the commercials be made to better fit the commercial time slots?
Isn't there some type of industry standard that can be followed?
