911 sent Ambulance to the NE; I live in the NW; TELUS responsible

Just in case anyone else goes thru this:


On Jan. 5th, 2014, I experienced an unexpected asthma attack severe enough to warrant calling the ambulance for a breathing treatment.


If you ever have to call 911 in an emergency and the 911 operator TOTALLY RELIES on what her "system read out" states about your EXACT ADDRESS, including the CITY QUADRANT, JUST VERBALLY VERIFY IT WITH THEM.


It wasn't Shaw's error in the end because that end of things is handled by Telus Communications.


I waited 25 mins to get appropriate EMS treatment.  Very scary, very preventable.
