WiFi issues

Hi there,

Our wired connection (PC, Windows 7) passed a speedtest at the top end of our Broadband 50 package (51 up, 3+ down) tonight, and for the past 5 years our wireless has not been far behind. In the last few days we've seen that degrade dramatically for the WiFi.

I did a speedtest on the wireless connection tonight (Macbook Air 2011) and got the following result Speedtest.net by Ookla - My Results. My fiancee's Mac actually faired worse than the results I attached. I am regularly used to download speeds over 5 Mbps via Wifi, so this as a top speed is definitely odd. My PS3 is also experiencing issues with the WiFi connection and online gaming is all but impossible now. Connection also needs to be reset regularly on the Macbook's in order to surf continuously.

We recently installed the Gateway PVR system, and I did read about potential interference problems before I bought it, but all seemed to work fine after install for a week or two, so I'm hesitant to say that is the issue. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Matt
