I have had the periodic video pixilation and audio drops on my Shaw cable for several years, and the results have been recorded on our PVR. Shaw support technicians have attended to this, examined our distribution system, and declared signal strength to be strong. We split the signal to deliver to our home theatre and to our Cisco gateway to high speed internet. I put a signal booster at the entry point to our house anyway, The irritation is random, and more common on FOX or some channel that carries programs like The Voice, or similar live reality shows. There is never pixilation of commercials! I don't think I have ever seen pixilation on a news channel, or during the day.
We are resigned to live with it, or "test-drive" Telus!
